The idea is simple, it is the ability to share large files between two trusted parties without uploading them to a server. Until recently we didn't had a straight forward solution to achieve this apart from using File sharing services like Rapidshare, Megaupload or using email attachment services like Pando.
This limitation could be overcome now by using several web applications that will just need a browser to share large files at good speeds in a peer to peer fashion. Check the list below for the best among the rest:
